Lionel Clement was born in 1978 in Las Vegas and has the official title as “Chocolate Chef” in the famous Wynn hotel. Clément received his diploma at “Les Sorbets” in Noirmoutier, France. He also got the ‘Vice Champion’ title in the World Chocolate Master competition in 2009, after winning the national competition in the U.S. the year before. His work definitely charmed the judges ; he created a an avant-garde form of chocolate scissors, on which he drew on a picture of a woman and a hat made out of several layers of chocolate. Lionel Clément had been rewarded for his creativity and technicality - this example is truly the source of inspiration for our chocolate experts at Planete Chocolat.
