Chocolate demonstration with Planète Chocolat in Belgium

Just a stone throw from the Grand-Place and Mannekin-Pis, the Planète Chocolat chocolaterie invites you to come and gain an insight into how we run our artisan chocolate workshop. 

Here you will discover the temple of chocolate, right in the middle of the demonstration spaces (with a maximum capacity of 200 people), with its workshop and own museum, tracing back the extraordinary and fabulous history of cocoa.

During the demonstration, our guests learn all about the various stages in the production of pralines, involving a lot of humour, and not forgetting the all important taster session (of artisan pralines and our own hot chocolate), all in 45 minutes.

With some 55,000 visitors per year, Planète Chocolat has become an unmissable experience and an event in its own right, a true ambassador of the world of Belgian chocolate.

We want to interactively share our vast knowledge about our passion - chocolate. We talk about the origins of cocoa, its virtues, and the various stages of its place in culture. For those who are more curious, we unveil a few unconventional uses, and some of the most daring… In the form of a few little games, we offer the chance for our particpants to mould their own caraques.   

Then, we lead you on a journey to the land of flavours: chocolate with thyme, chocolate with pepper, violet chocolate, lily of the valley chocolate, all of which is accompanied with our own hot chocolate. We organise demonstrations for groups of 25-200 people.

Private demonstrations are organised every Saturday at 4pm and Sunday at 3pm.
